Instructions for Registering

  3. All applications are manually verified. This process can take up to 48 hours working hours to complete. You will be notified when your application has been verified and accepted.
  4. Full website access will only be available when your application has been accepted and verified.
  5. The IGPNEA membership fee for 1 year is €78.
  6. Membership runs from registration date until 31st December each year.

Unable to pay by card?

Request an Invoice.

If you are unable to pay for your membership by card you can request an invoice to allow you to pay by Bank Transfer.

Part Annual Membership

(From the end of February onwards)

Our Part Annual Membership is designed for new members who may have missed the January window to join. Available from the end of February onwards each year, this membership option allows you to join and enjoy the remainder of the membership year.

This option is strictly for new members only and cannot be used by existing members to renew their membership.

Applicants must not be current members, and if they have previously held membership, at least 12 months must have passed since their last active membership.

It’s a great way to get involved and experience everything we offer, even if you are joining later in the year.

Instructions for Registering

  1. You need a code to complete the application. For this, please email Úna in our membership department via membership@irishpracticenurses.ie  with “Discount Code for Part Membership” in the subject box.
  2. Once the code is received, please click on the button below to complete the registration form. All fields are required.
  3. You will be directed to a payment page on submission and this must be completed before your application is processed.
  4. All applications are manually verified. This process can take up to 48 hours working hours to complete. You will be notified when your application has been verified and accepted.
  5. Full website access will only be available when your application has been accepted and verified.
  6. The IGPNEA membership fee for 1 year is €78, therefore a discount of €6.50 per month is applied depending on when you join via this option.
  7. Membership runs from registration date until 31st December each year.
  8. You will receive a reminder for renewal in December each year and that will be for the full annual amount, not the discounted amount.

Associate Member Annual Fee

What is Associate Membership?

Associate membership of the Association is open to persons who were previous full members of the IGPNEA and are now:

On a career break OR retired from practice nursing

Associate members will

  1. Receive the official Association Quarterly Educational e-Journal,
  2. Have full access to the IGPNEA website,
  3. Be entitled to attend a full branch meeting,
  4. Be entitled to avail of the members’ rate to attend the National Conference.

Associate members shall not be entitled to vote at branch meetings, branch AGMs, National AGMs, or national EGMs.

  • Associate members may not be elected as a branch committee officer or national committee officer.
  • Associate members will pay 65% (to nearest Euro) of the full membership fee.
