Each year at the IGPNEA National Conference a series of awards are presented at the Gala Dinner.
We are pleased to announce that the IGPNEA Awards for 2024 are:
• Educational Research Bursary – Prize €1000
• Clinical Award – Subject: Menopause – Prize €1000
• 30 years Special Educational Bursary – Prize ANP Course Paid for by IGPNEA
• IGPNEA GP Nurse of the Year – Prize TBC
The Educational Research Bursary is open to all IGPNEA members who are undertaking or have undertaken a research project or clinical audit in the area of general practice nursing. This can be any initiative in general practice nursing – clinical, educational or practice management – since our last Educational Research Bursary was awarded in 2023.

The GP Nurse of the year award will be voted for by your patients.
A special poster has been designed for you to display in your surgery.
A copy of this is printed in the Summer Edition of the IGPNEA official journal and can be cut out.

Patients must email the nurses full name, the surgery name and location and a short sentence as to why they feel you deserve the award to membership@irishpracticenurses.ie.

The IGPNEA is delighted to announce the IGPNEA 30 Years Special Educational Bursary Award for 2024.
The IGPNEA will sponsor a GP Nurse to undertake an Advanced Nursing Practice course in the Higher Educational Institute of their choice.
HOW TO ENTER
The 30 Years Special Educational Bursary Award is open to all IGPNEA members who have renewed their IGPNEA membership by 31st January 2024 and who wish to undertake an ANP course.
